GTHC Predicts, Arsenal Away
What a CUNT, we don’t even get a mention apart from he thinks Cech wont have much to do, 3-0 as well that’s a big score for him, its usually no more than 2 and there the only team he has tipped to score it this weekend, all the other big 4/5 or whatever to get no more than 2.

I just have feeling, there could be a surprise in the air and we give all these muggy pundits a bit of humble pie to eat, but it will have NOTHING to do with not starting any of our better players in Romania.

This has classic West Ham upset written all over it, 0-1

IRONS

Petr Cech is a great signing for Arsenal
but I do not expect him to have much to do against the Hammers.
My issue with the Gunners is that they are still unreliable – it was the same old story at the end of last season even after their impressive run.

Until that changes, Chelsea remain the only team at the top of the table who seem able to play badly and win every time. Arsenal just don’t do that.
That’s one of the reasons I am not tipping them to win the league but, if the Gunners do get going and are still in the mix at the top of the table by the end of January, then things could get interesting.
They have got to play north London rivals Tottenham and also the two Manchester clubs but generally their run-in contains some great fixtures if they are in touch with the title race.
Lawro’s prediction:

3-0

In footballing terms it would require a miracle to keep a clean sheet, we will be on the back foot straight from the whistle.

There's no real way to predict how this will go but I'm not optimistic.

Come on let's at least have a few moments of unrealistic optimism until the bubble is actually burst.

I thought Lawrenson was retiring?
I'm sure he does these previews in about 10mins on the way to the pub. Money for OLD ROPE

He is correct that Cech is likely to be able to leave his rubberised hat in the dressing room and wear a tea cosy

One thing I can predict, should we lose mug pundits and muggier Allardyciples will rolling out the BFS alwats got the better of Wenger and we should have been careful what we wished for.

I'll even place a side bet that the great man himself will come out somewhere to express his wisdom on how to beat arsenal and how Billic was naive.

Not at this level, Monk. If you have a weakness it'll be exploited.

Annoyed me when I read this yesterday it was all Arsenal. Bastard. He usually reserves 3-0 for when he thinks it'll be a real tonking.

We'll see. If not any points the I want to see a bloody good performance and a close run thing to make up for Thursday.
